How is DynamoDB different than DocumentDB?

We covered DocumentDB in yesterday’s post. It’s a NoSQL DB designed for media and other searchable data objects. DynamoDB is about relatively smaller records (400KB), scale, and performance. It’s one of the older services on AWS and therefore has great hooks into existing AWS products. It’s extremely scalable, with AWS describing it as an “infinite” scale DB.
