AWS Everyday - Chime vs. Chime SDK
Today is day 15 of our 238 day journey to explore a different AWS product.
Yesterday, we talked about using Chime and several different AWS products to build a serverless application to talk to your furbabies remotely. It was a bit convoluted way to show that Chime is a first-class service within AWS. There is a more direct way to create a similar application. You could write an application to connect to the Chime service directly.
Chime SDK is the tool to build client and serverside applications that interact with the Chime service. Think of this similar to IoT Core.
Like Fleetwise, youโll see AWS adding products based on a core solution for verticles. Chime SDK could be the base of an AWS Event Conferencing product.
