AWS Datazone - The Databricks of AWS Products

You didn't think Amazon was going to leave the market of data ETL and presentation to Databricks and Snowflake did you?

Data is an asset class only if you get glean insights from the data. When you have disparate data sources that include SaaS, NAS, S3, BLOB, Database, and file, you need a solution to normalize the data for analysis. Snowflake and Databricks are worth so much money and attention because they both promise to enable the capability. Keep in mind authorization, authentication, and data governance from these far-flung data sources must be maintained. In some cases, you are creating new categories of data that may become personally identifiable data as a result.

Amazon Datazone is AWS’ answer to these challenges. It’s currently in Preview.
